We have slightly more than an hour left for Qualcomm's Keynote at the 2022 Snapdragon Summit and while we already knew that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was going to be the star of the show, the popular leaker, Evan Blass has just shared two press renders of the upcoming SoC.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is going to be based on the 4nm Process. It'll also feature 8 Cores (1 Prime + 4 Performance + 3 Efficiency), support for the brand new Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard, OLED safety features, and much more.
While I don't expect it to be a massive leap forward in performance, hopefully, it'll take notes from the 8+ Gen 1 and be much more efficient while also being more powerful and maybe not overheating in the process.
